Heat-seal coating that gives a more uniform seal, no fibre release on opening, at lower sealing temperature and time.

1.0Overview

Supplied in the width specified by each customer, heat-seal coated medical-grade paper provides a more uniform seal without fibre or particle release when the package is opened. Combined with lower sealing temperature and/or time, it increases production speed, giving this material an excellent cost-benefit ratio.

The heat-seal coating is applied to the surface of the medical-grade paper to provide adhesion between the paper and the other substrate. The applied lacquer is non-toxic and non-irritating.

2.0Applications

Used as a raw material for the single-use primary packaging of syringes, needles, scalp vein sets, catheters, suction tips and surgical gloves.
